B4 refers to products that are original equipment replacements. Meaning, the products have the same valving profile, ride height and high quality components and fitment as the original equipment shocks that came on your vehicle from the manufacturer. 


B6 for Passenger Cars (B6 Performance)

Bilstein B6 Performance dampers are a performance upgrade to OE dampers designed to be paired with the stock height OE factory spring. B6 for Truck/SUV (B6 4600)

Bilstein B6 4600 shock absorbers are designed as a direct fit upgrade to OE shock absorbers on stock height light trucks and SUV’s. These shock absorbers feature a monotube design which provides consistent fade free performance. B6 4600 shock absorbers utilize a unique, velocity sensitive, digressive piston which reacts to changing road conditions. The "B8" designation placed in front of our 5100, 6112, 8100, and 8112 series shocks simply denotes that these shocks are designed for lifted or leveled trucks and SUVs.
