Use an allen wrench to hold the rod end and prevent spinning.
To keep the piston shaft from spinning while tightening up the top nut on your shocks, we recommend using a 5mm or 6mm allen wrench (it could be either so confirm) on the top of the rod end to hold the rod from spinning while you tighten the nut down.
Caution: Do not use air tools to tighten any shock mounting nuts or bolts. Use hand tools only with propper torque applied once suspension is loaded. With weight on wheels.
