Bilstein does not offer fully assembled “quick struts” (with the exception of the B8 8112 modules); most require reusing OEM or aftermarket springs.
Bilstein struts are sold in an unloaded state, which is standard practice in the automotive industry. We do not offer fully assembled or “quick strut” units because our struts are precisely engineered, tested, and tuned to perform with the vehicle’s original components—especially the factory springs. This ensures the best possible ride quality, handling, and durability.
The main exception is our B8 8112 (ZoneControl® CR) modules, which are delivered as fully assembled coilover units. For most other applications, you’ll need to reuse your existing OEM springs or pair the struts with compatible aftermarket springs.
